🌻Thank you Jen! It was lovely to chat with you today.🌻
💗 Looking for participants to join in this pilot! 💗 The first quilt square is now production! In a guided conversation, Jen Edwards shared two memories of changes that have taken place during Covid–ways in which two of her daily life spaces / practices have transformed–which she would like to continue beyond the pandemic. One of these was the emergence of a wonderful kid-friendly “secret garden” on her building’s rooftop. It has been a space for growing food, connecting with and learning from neighbours, and from her abundance, to be able to generously share the succulents that have grown through her local buy nothing group! (Not to mention, to bask in from her neighbour’s gratitude for these popular plants!) The pandemic provides us with an opportunity to reevaluate and repurpose urban spaces, and to connect with our neighbours by sharing from garden abundance." We are looking for others who may want to take part in this early pilot! It involves a conversation and creation of a quilt square – either on your own or in partnership with a volunteer! Quilt squares can be made using traditional methods, or using non-toxic fabric pastels with your kids. Please send a message if you are interested.
